#1 Amazon Prime

#2 Bubble Wraps

Bubble wrap is essential for online sellers. I prefer the long-lasting cushioning protection bubble wraps because sometimes shipping can be rough.

AD: Easyship helps you to find the lowest rates with a shipping and tracking experience customers love.

#3 Tissue Papers

Tissue paper fills the empty space without adding extra weight. It’s also a nice touch for wrapping items. I purchased 105 sheets of tissue paper for $14.99 on Amazon.

#4 Photo Studio Kit

When you’re selling online, the photos are everything. Most of the users quickly scroll through pictures to find what they want, so your photos need to be attractive enough to make them stop and take a look. To shoot good photos you can use a portable and foldable photo studio box with LED lights, light umbrella continuous lighting kit, etc. Yes, lighting is the key to good photos!

#5 Backdrops

I use white paperboards for backdrops, but professional backdrops can increase your sale even more. And also, flat lay photography works well for clothes and accessories. Portable backdrops are very popular for Instagrammers.

#6 White Rugs

White rugs are also helpful to create professional-looking photographs. I use white rugs to take flat lay photography.

#7 Digital Camera

A good camera has an auto color corrector to take professional-looking photographs. Some digital cameras can take a video for vlogging too!

#8 Mannequin

Mannequin gives people an idea of how the items can be worn and how they may look while being worn which increases the sale.

#9 Measuring Tape

A measuring tape is a must-have. Most of the buyers will ask for the measurement of items. If you are an eBay seller, find a double-sided measuring tape with both cm and inch. International buyers use centimeters.

#10 Printers

I hope you already own this but if you don’t, buy a printer to print out your shipping label. I bought a wireless printer at Walmart, but one of my reselling friends owns a sticker label printer. It’s kind of pricey compared to my wireless printer but looks convenient.

Printer tips: The printer itself is not that expensive, but the ink costs a lot. On the other hand, Thermal Printer itself is kind of expensive but doesn’t need ink. I think that a big saving.

#11 Papers for Printer

You also need letter-size papers for printing your labels. If you are using a sticker label printer, then you’ll need sticker roll labels.

#12 Sticker Labels

If you want to create your brand’s sticker but also want to save money, I highly recommend using Avery sticker labels. You can use Canva (a free graphic editing tool) to design your logo or illustration and print it on Avery 8.5 x 11 inches sticker sheets. It’s DIY stickers, so not really high quality. But, affordable!

#13 Weight Scale

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and distance traveled. I use a kitchen scale to calculate the shipping cost.

#14 Poly Mailers

Postage is calculated by weight, so thin and lightweight poly mailers envelopes are an economical and quick way to ship items that aren’t fragile like clothes. I use the cheapest simple white poly mailers. Some people use colorful, fun, and cute mailers for their branding.

#15 Padded Mailers

For fragile item like cosmetics, I use bubble wraps and padded mailers. Padded mailers have a wide variety of sizes and it really useful.

#16 Packaging Tapes

Most of the shipping carriers are not allow you to use duct tape, masking tape, or cellophane tape to seal your packages for shipping. Scotch tape is allowed to use.

#17 Thank You Card

To engage with customers, some seller adds thank you cards. It’s always nice to show your appreciation to your customers.

#18 USPS Account

USPS provides you free boxes and envelopes when you use their Priority Mail services. You can order online with free shipping if you gave USPS account.
