Step-By-Step Guide to Connect WPForms and Sendinblue in WordPress
Step 1: Install and Activate WPForms
First of all, Install and activate the WPForms plugin on your WordPress site. After that, visit the WPForms > Settings page to enter your license key. (this will connect your WordPress and WPForms account)
Step 2: Install and Activate Sendinblue
Next, Install and activate the Sendinblue. Navigate to WPForms > Addons.
You’ll see the Sendinblue icon there. If you don’t see anything, then click on the Refresh Addons button.
Click install and activate just like WPForms addon.
Step 3: Connect Sendinblue and WPForms
Once the Sendinblue addon is installed and activated, let’s connect Sendinblue and WPForms!
Navigate to WPForms > Settings and click on the Integrations tab. Sendinblue icon has a button called Add New Account, click it.
Now, you’ll have the Sendinblue option to expand its settings. Input your Sendinblue account API key and nickname for the account. And then, click Connect to Sendinblue button.
WPForms will connect your WordPress and Sendinblue accounts automatically. When the integration process succeeds, it will show a green Connected status.
That’s all. Super easy, right?
How to Add a Sendinblue to Forms
After Sendinblue integration, you can create a lead to Sendinblue account using forms. This is a great way to grow your email list!
You can edit an existing form and connect Sendinblue OR you can create a new form. Your choice (:
To create a new form and connect it to your Sendinblue, navigate to Marketing > Sendinblue > Add New Connection.
Now you’ll see the popup. Input your nickname for this connection. If you have more than one Sendinblue account connected to WPForms, use drop-down and find one that you want to connect.
In addition, if you select Subscribe under Action to Perform that means the user’s email address will be added to Subscribe contacts. You can also do market segmentation under the List. Select your created list then the user’s email address will be added to that email list.
Lastly, be sure to save your form.
Note: the more and more I learned about email marketing, market segmentation is VERY important. Please learn market segmentation before you start email marketing.
