How to Make Event Tracking with Google Analytics in WordPress
Step 1. You need to set up a Google Analytics account! If you haven’t done this, please read my How To Install Google Analytics to Your WordPress Site in 3 Easy Steps here before going to the next step.
Step 2. After you set up Google Analytics in WordPress, log in to your Google Analytics account. And then, go Admin > eCommerce Settings. Make sure Enable eCommerce and Enable Enhanced eCommerce Reporting are both ON, then Save.

Step 3. Go back to your WordPress and under Insights > click Addon. Install eCommerce addons and activate it.
Step 4. Go back to under Insights > click Settings. Go to the eCommerce and turn on Use Enhanced eCommerce.
That’s all.
Go to the report page and under the eCommerce tabs, you can monitor how people interact with your content on the website now!
