Accepting PayPal Payments in WordPress

These are a few steps to set up PayPal payments in WordPress using the WPForms plugin.

Note: A Pro license is needed to be able to access payments with PayPal features.

Step1. Install the PayPal Addon

First of all, Install and activate the WPForms plugin on your WordPress site. Once WPForms is installed, visit the WPForms > Settings page to enter your license key. (this will connect your WordPress and WPForms account)

Then, install the PayPal addon.

Step2. Activate the PayPal Addon

Activate PayPal addon and add PayPal to a form. To do this, “create a new form” or if you already have a form then edit an existing form. By default, the Billing / Order form template comes with the most-used fields, but you can customize it.

Step3. Add PayPal Payments to Your Forms

So, now you have a form on WordPress. The next step is to connect it to PayPal. Sounds a little complicated, right?

 Don’t worry, WPForms makes it super easy to connect to PayPal.

Go to Payments > PayPal Standard, and then check the box labeled Enable PayPal Standard payments.

Click on the Save button to store your payment settings, that’s all. Now, users can submit a PayPal payment through your WordPress website, and the payment will immediately go to your PayPal account.

You can check the payment status on the billing/order form page!
