First of all, what is WPForms?

WPForms is a beginner-friendly WordPress plugin that allows you to create a powerful but affordable form builder. It’s a drag & drops WordPress form builder, so you don’t need any coding knowledge. You can create contact forms, payment forms, survey forms, newsletter forms, registration forms, etc.

WPForms has 4 licenses:

  • Basic $79 a year
  • Plus $199 a year
  • Pro $399 a year
  • Elite $599 a year

In order to create order forms, you’ll need at least the Pro license.

Tips: Use the benefit of special deals! WPForms offer special deals sometimes. During the time, the prices go down to:

  • Basic $39.50 a year
  • Plus $99.50 a year
  • Pro $199.50 a year
  • Elite $299.50 a year

If you don’t like WPForms over the next 14 days after purchase, then you get a full refund.

4 Simple Steps to Create Order Form in WordPress with WPForms

Before starting out, WPForms accept two payment types such as PayPal and Stripe.

If you want to use PayPal payment, this is how payment works: after the form has been submitted, users will be redirected to the PayPal login page to continue payment.

If you want to use Stripe payment, users can directly add their payment information on your form via the credit card field and submit.

I use PayPal payment most of the time, but some people are not familiar with PayPal payment. What about your users?  Choosing payment methods that your users are most frequently used can increase the sale.

And also, to create order form in WordPress with WPForms, you need to have these:

  • Your WordPress site (must have!)
  • WPForms Pro license or higher (must have!)
  • PayPal account (if you choose to use PayPal payment)
  • Stripe account (if you choose to use Stripe payment)

OK, now let’s get started!

#1 Install WPForms to your WordPress Site

First, log in to your WordPress site. Go to the Plugins page and install WPForms on your site. Now, you need to connect your WPForms account and your WordPress site plugin.

To do that, go WPForms > Settings > General > add License Key > click Verify Key.

Go to WPForms > Addons > activate these addons: PayPal (if you have PayPal account), Stripe (if you have Stripe account), form template pack.

You’ll see the pop-up notification to configure your payment settings. We just did it, so click CLOSE.

The pre-designed template is already set up in some fields, but if you don’t need these specific fields then delete it. (Mouse over to specific fields you think you don’t need it. You’ll see trash can icon. Click it.)

You can also add some fields. To do that, go to Add Fields. If you want to change each field settings, click the specific field then you’ll see detail setting on the right side of the page. If you want to use Stripe payment, don’t forget to add a credit card field. (It’s under Add Fields)

If you’d like to give users an option to choose between PayPal or Stripe, add the Multiple Choice field to your form. In the choice section, type credit card and PayPal.

Once you’ve finished customizing your form, click Payments. You’ll see two payment options such as PayPal and Stripe. Let’s check each payment settings.

First, click PayPal and make sure Enable PayPal Standard Payments is checked. Enter your email address associated with your PayPal account.

And then select Payment Type: Products and Services or Donation. We are creating order form, so for now select Products and Services. If you sell physical products through your website, you can also select the Shipping Address. This part is really customizable!

When you set up Stripe payment, in the same way as PayPal, make sure Enable Stripe Payments is checked. You can add Payment Description for this payment and also select Stripe Payment Receipt. (you have option: email) After all the settings are complete, click Save.

#4 Embed this brand-new order form to your WordPress

Final step! Go to your Dashboard > Pages > Add New. On the page, click the + button. In the Widgets section, select WPForms. If you can’t find Widgets or WPForms, use the search bar. (type WPForms in the search bar then you’ll see WPForms icon)

Once you selected WPFroms from the Widgets, the form will be created on your page. In the pull-down menu, you’ll see the selection of forms that you’ve created in the past. Select the one you want to use. (in this case, order form) Hit publish, you are all set!

Please test out your order forms, make sure everything works fine.

WPForms is a really easy and simple tool to create a wide variety of forms without hiring developers. I really like how easy conditional statements can be created. If you want to know more about WPForms, visit their website here.
